Yay!  

Haro guys! I am over the moon now after receiving a message from a friend that says HSJ was on TV just now. Oh btw, I am from Malaysia. (^_^)

Okay, I am not very sure what program it was but it was definitely an entertainment program. If I am not mistaken, it's a Hong Kong entertainment program. My friend told me that the news was about HSJ's concert. I wonder if it was the news about their coming concert or their previous summer concert? Anyways, she's not so into HSJ so I didn't get much information from her.

It was on channel 314, Astro. Ne minna, mita? Has anyone of you seen it? Please leave a comment if you've seen it! I would love to know what the news was about in more detail.. xD

Actually, I am happy because...HSJ's popularity has reached HK and Malaysia? Maybe? Haha. If that's so, then it's absolutely great. SUGOI. Ne? Teehee ^^

Big Bang TOP chosen as #1 celebrity who seems good with special events for his lover  


Idol group Big Bang member TOP has been chosen as the #1 entertainer who looks like he is good at doing events for his lover.

According to a survey done on Monkey3 from 23rd October to 30th October, and in commemoration of Pepero Day (11th November), and the question ‘Celebrities who looks like he/she is good at doing special events for their lovers’ was asked and 1363 netizens polled. Big Bang TOP came in first in the poll with 23% of the votes.

2PM 'Heartbeat' Song-Marketing-Jaebum 'Dae Bak formula'  


The title song 'Heartbeat' in 2PM's first official album '01:59PM', is garnering immense popularity as soon as it was released on the 10th. It had placed 1st in various music charts and is staying on as one of the top searched terms in various portal sites.

2PM's new song, 'Heartbeat' comes after their debut song '10 out of 10', 'Again and Again' and 'I hate you'. The song embodies a powerful yet dark and wistful sentiment -- the color of 2PM is well captured. 'Heartbeat' is written and composed by Park Jin Young. It uses the actual heart beat sounds of the 6 members as the base and an orchestra is arranged over the sound creating a sad, doleful melody that captures the melancholy sentiment.

As much work has been put into the song, they have put in a lot of effort into the marketing as well. As they have gained a lot of attention through the '01:59PM' 'Tired of waiting' 'I was crazy for you' as well as the teaser marketing, they have completed the image marketing with the connection between 'Heartbeat', the idea of 'waiting' and the actual pulse of the heart. Anxiety, fear, yearning and various other meanings have been attached to the song 'Heartbeat' and has been coupled with the sound of the actual pulse creating an image sound for this whole album's concept.

The peak of 2PM's marketing is 'Jaebum' who had left the team in September after the anti-Korea controversy. The song, which is more sorrowful than before, is used along with the idea of fear and anxiety as a theme. This marketing point is combined into one with 'Leader Jaebum's absence' and the fans' desire for his return.

The result of many fans discussing how the album's title, '01:59PM' has been used to call 2PM without Jaebum, along with how the songs, 'Tired of Waiting' and 'I was crazy for you' seems to reflect the 6 members' and Jaebum's thoughts are all a result of how the marketing point has hit its mark.

Although fans are worried that they are using Jaebum too much for just marketing, many in the music industry see it as a way of telling the story of the whole album, especially after the talk of Jaebum's return possibly becoming a reality.

North and South Korea Skirmish  
A badly damaged North Korean patrol ship retreated in flames Tuesday after a skirmish with a South Korean naval vessel along their disputed western coast, the first such clash in seven years, South Korean officials said.

There were no South Korean casualties, the country's Joint Chiefs of Staff said in a statement, and it was not immediately clear if there were any casualties on the North Korean side. Each side blamed the other for violating the sea border.

The exchange of fire occurred as U.S. officials said President Barack Obama has decided to send a special envoy to Pyongyang for rare direct talks on the communist country's nuclear weapons program. No date has been set but it would be the first one-on-one talks since Obama took office in January. Obama is due in Seoul next week.

Two recent articles about 2am  
2AM’s Changmin and Seulong know a thing about composing

On an episode of Mnet's "Director's Cut," which was broadcasted on the 2nd, Lee Changmin and Im Seulong of 2AM received first-hand experience on composing by singer Yoon Jong Shin.

For those who may not be familiar with the show, "Director's Cut" is an artist reality program that features Yoon Jong Shin and Ha Rim who dissect OSTs, documenting how they are made.

SHINee’s Onew is making a speedy recovery from H1N1  


Diagnosed with the H1N1 virus late last week, SHINee’s leader Onew is currently making a speedy recovery.

SHINee’s management company SM Entertainment said in a phone interview this morning: “Onew’s body temperature has returned to normal, and he is now making frequent video calls to his good friends. He is in a good state of health as of now.”

The company also said: “Onew will be sent to the hospital on either the 12th or the 13th, to check if he has recovered fully from the virus.”

Before Onew, lead vocal Jonghyun had also fallen ill due to the H1N1 virus on the 3rd, and made a full recovery on the 6th. SHINee is currently promoting title track Ring Ding Dong as a 4-member group.

Attention Singaporeans, or people living in Singapore!  
Would anyone like to take in a beautiful and sweet cat who has been abandoned by her owner?



My family was supposed to catsit Sheba while her owner (i.e. my elder sister's friend) went on an overseas exchange program for 2 months. However, after 2 months, her owner never took her back and even came up with a (really lousy) excuse to leave her with us. It's been 8 months since Sheba's been with us. (Months because my sister first tried looking for people she knew but to no avail.)

As much as we would like to keep her, we live in a HDB flat, which the government doesn't allow cats as pets in. Plus, our flat has really limited space for her to run and jump about because 1) we have a lot of stuff lying around, and 2) she's not allowed into my mother's and brother's rooms, and the kitchen. (My brother has asthma and my mum doesn't like cat fur flying all over.) We also worry about how she might jump out of our windows because we live on the mighty 12th floor.

summary: DongHae, a very typical girl, is light spirited and has innocence comparable to a five year old. She only wants a few things in life.. graduate, see aliens and be loved. Hyukjae is also a typical guy known for his.. well clueless ness and stupidity at some point. He is a caring friend and will do anything for them, even disregarding himself.. The two find themselves in a complicated love story partly because Kyumin and Yewook is getting these two together. Sometimes.. we make things complicated.. yet the solution is just so simple..

 A/N: I’ll be adding another character.. Tiff as a prize to  [info]read0write   for guessing/suggesting EunHae series I'll be adding Tee in the Kangteuk.. maybe in the Eunhae series too as a prize to [info]tees2mai for correctly guessing the Kangteuk series..

Korean Cultural Festival to feature K-pop boyband Shinee  
For Pinoy K-pop fans, November is the season to be jolly.

To cap the year-long celebration of 60 years of diplomatic relations between Korea and the Philippines, the Korean Embassy will hold on November 19-27 the Korean Cultural Festival, which will let Filipinos have a taste of Korean food, dance, music, theater, and arts.

But the most-awaited event in the week-long festival is the free K-pop concert scheduled on November 27. It will feature popular Korean front acts like boyband Shinee, jazz band Winterplay, and energetic rap duo Mighty Mouth.

In an email message to PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal), Blaise Regacho, Executive Assistant on Economic & Cultural Affairs for the Korean Embassy, said the concert was borne out of several petitions by avid K-pop fans in the country, to bring Korean stars to the Philippines. For whatever reason, youtube decided it wanted to suspend my account earlier today.
Again.

As a result, not only have I lost the 90+ videos I had uploaded - a portion of which are gone from my harddrive - I've also lost the names of the 50+ channels I was subscribed to (most of which were various subbing squads and their backup accounts).

So if you lovelies would, tell me your favorite channels to follow on youtube so I have something to watch while I'm busy not sleeping or packing for my trip to Germany in a few days.

Comeback: Can 2pm? Who will come back in next day? Retake the "beast-idol syndrome"?  


Asia.co.kr: 2pm will come back with the title song of their first album, "Heartbeat" on 10th Nov. The first stage of it will be a Music Bank of KBS. At last, 2pm, who had many ups and downs, will come back into K-pop culture.

We expect that 2pm will make a lot of issues. there is always a open question, when Jay will come back? and they can rise to the top cuz there are no Dong-Bang-Shin-Ki and Bing Bang in 2009 K-pop. More, Park, jin young said about the title song, "Heartbeat", - 'This is a totally new song", so We hope to see good results.
